India
Kashmir
Kashmir - a true paradise on Earth, a place of breathtaking beauty and cultural richness. Its stunning landscapes, serene lakes, and snow-capped mountains create a truly enchanting atmosphere that draws travelers from far and wide. When I added Kashir into my list, it was just out of the factor that Kashmir is the northernmost region in India and also a region where not many travel.

Badami
Badami. It's got these cool red cliffs, and tucked inside them are caves with the most incredible old carvings. It used to be a big deal city way back when, and honestly, you can see why. The temples carved right into the rock? Amazing. Each one tells a different story – Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist. Then there's this really peaceful lake, Agastya, that reflects the temples like a mirror, especially when the sun's rising or setting. And if you hike up a bit, you'll find a fort and another temple with amazing views. But it's not just old buildings, you know? The streets are lively, the markets are fun, and everyone's super friendly. If you're into photography, or just exploring cool places, Badami's full of stories waiting to be found.

Ellora Caves
Nestled in the Sahyadri hills of Maharashtra, the Ellora Caves are a breathtaking testament to India's spiritual and artistic legacy. Carved between the 6th and 10th centuries, these 34 rock-cut caves bring together Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain traditions in one stunning complex. The highlight is the majestic Kailasa temple—an architectural marvel hewn entirely from a single rock. Wandering through Ellora feels like stepping into history, where every pillar, sculpture, and corridor whispers stories of devotion, craftsmanship, and timeless wonder.

Bibi Ka Maqbara – The Taj of the Deccan
Located in Aurangabad, Bibi Ka Maqbara was built in the late 17th century by Azam Shah in memory of his mother, Dilras Banu Begum. Often called the "Taj of the Deccan," its design echoes the grandeur of the Taj Mahal, though on a more modest scale. Framed by the backdrop of the Deccan hills, the monument stands as a delicate blend of Mughal architecture and quiet elegance. Walking through its marble pathways, it's hard not to be moved by the serene beauty and the sentiment it holds—a son’s tribute frozen in stone.
